15 of the Smallest Campers With Bathrooms | Video Tours!

The convenience of having a small camper is unbeatable. You can tow ‘em anywhere you want and with pretty much any vehicle you have.

But if you don’t have a bathroom in your camper, things can get pretty inconvenient, pretty fast. Not having a toilet to use when there’s nowhere to go, and not being able to take a hot shower after a long day of hiking is a huge drawback of most small camping trailers.

Luckily, there are more small campers out there that have bathrooms than you might think!

So, I’m gonna take you through 15 of the very best small towable and driveable campers that have bathrooms.  I included a variety, from super small camping trailers to a few that are a bit larger so you’ll have tons of options to shop through.

What You’ll Find in the Bathrooms, Toilets, and Showers of Small Campers

  • Wet baths: What the heck is a wet bath? You’ll see this term a lot when shopping for small campers with bathrooms. It just means that the shower, toilet, and sometimes a sink are together in one tiny room, and that whole room gets wet when you shower.
  • Cassette toilets: Lots of small campers with bathrooms have cassette toilets. These are toilets where all your waste goes into a container (the cassette) that you dump out yourself at a dump station or restroom. (Click here for more info on cassette toilets)
  • Cramped space: These small campers with bathrooms really are small. Don’t go into this expecting to see any residential-sized bathrooms. A lot of the toilet situations might have your knees all the way to your chest, but that’s the drawback of having a bathroom in a tiny space!
  • Low sleeping capacity: None of these small campers with bathrooms will sleep more than 4 people. In fact, most only sleep 2. The extra room taken up by the bathroom means you’re sacrificing some sleeping space. These small camping trailers are probably best for couples or small families.
  • No bathroom sink: Lots of these small camping trailers simply won’t have a sink in the bathroom. You’ll often just see just a wet bath with a small toilet and a showerhead. In these small camping trailers, you’ll just have to use the sink in the kitchen area instead.

Luckily, you can remedy some of the issues with small camper bathrooms with some simple organization – here are my top 9 RV bathroom organizing tricks!

12 Smallest Towable Campers with Bathrooms

Towable, small camping trailers are super convenient since most of them can be towed by mid-sized vehicles.  So, here are my 12 favorite small camping trailers out there, so you’ll always have a place to “go”.

Scamp 13’ Deluxe

Scamp 13’ Deluxe
Source: scamptrailers.com

Features

  • Full front bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink
  • Only 13’ long
  • Sleeps two

The Scamp has the classic, retro look of fiberglass camping trailers. The 13’ deluxe has one floor plan that comes with a bathroom. (The floorplan is called “front bathroom” if you want to look that up).

The convertible dinette in the back of the trailer is covered in cushions that you rearrange to make a full-sized bed. It’s not going to be the most comfortable bed, but you can always add a mattress topper.

(Pssst: 3 Ways to Deal with Your Uncomfy RV Mattress (+how to order a custom replacement!) )

The bathroom at the front is a wetbath with a shower, a toilet, and even a tiny sink. So, this small camping trailer manages to fit TWO sinks in just 13 feet of length. The interior is a bit kitschy looking with its full vinyl cabinetry and brown carpeting, but I personally like the retro look of the interior.

Here’s a tour of the Scamp 13’ (this one has bunk beds instead of a bathroom, but the rest of the layout is very similar):

Happier Camper HC1 with Premium Package

Happier Camper HC1 with Premium Package
Source: happiercamper.com

Features:

  • Dry flush toilet
  • Tons of add-on options
  • Totally modular interior
  • Built-in solar
  • 6 color options

The Happier Camper is very similar to the Scamp trailer in size and style (they’re both fiberglass trailers), but the interior is pretty different.

The Happier Camper is designed to have a totally modular interior setup. Basically, this means it  comes with lots of cushions and cubes, so you can set up the interior however you like.

The interior of the Happier Camper can be set up as a dinette, a huge bed, two small beds, really however you want to set it up.  Each bathroom in a Happier Camper will look different, but they all come with a dry flush toilet. You can also choose if you want a full wetbath with a shower, or just the toilet.

Source: jayco.com

Features:

  • Full dry bath with shower, toilet, and sink
  • Foot flush toilet
  • Full-sized bed and pull out couch
  • Outdoor and indoor fridge

The Jayco Jay Feather is a bit larger compared to a lot of the small camping trailers I have on this list. That does mean, however, that you get a full-sized dry bath. The bathroom in this floorplan of the Jay Feather has a sink, a foot flush traditional RV toilet, and a walk-in shower you won’t feel cramped in.

It also has a residential-sized fridge and sleeping room for up to four people with a pull-out sofa.  You’ll also get a flat-screen TV, a nice size kitchen, and an outdoor fridge underneath the awning.

If you don’t want or need one of the teeniest camping trailers on the market, the Jay Feather is a great option.

Aliner LXE

Aliner LXE
Source: aliner.com

Features:

  • Wet bath with cassette toilet and shower
  • Under 2,000 pounds
  • Full-sized bed
  • Outdoor shower in addition to shower in wet bath

The Aliner LXE is a small camping trailer with a unique design. During the day, you’ll have a sofa seating area and a dinette with two seats, and at night, a queen-sized bed. Yes!! A queen-size bed in a tiny camper!! Awesome.

The front of the trailer is pretty standard, with a small fridge, a two-burner stove, and a small sink. The bathroom is at the front. It’s a wetbath with a shower and a cassette toilet.

This camper might look really short, but it feels more comfortable inside than you’d think. Because of the popout at the front, you are able to fully stand with plenty of headroom in the shower and kitchen area.

Little Guy Mini Max

Features

  • Wet bath with marine toilet
  • Included microwave
  • Hardwood cabinets
  • Prepped for solar

The Little Guy Mini Max is another teardrop-shaped camper that has a bathroom option. The Mini Max comes with a wetbath at the front of the camper that has a relatively large shower and a marine-style toilet.

The showerhead looks similar to a residential shower head but is designed to save water. It’s all enclosed with a nice sliding glass door.

The interior of the little guy Mini Max is really high quality with hardwood cabinets (rare to see in camping trailers). You’ll also get a microwave and fridge, and the camper is prepped for solar.

The convertible dinette has two different bed configurations: one queen-sized bed or two twin beds. And all-in-all, the Little Guy Mini Max lives up to its name, at just 17 feet long.

Here’s a tour of the 2021 model:

Airstream Basecamp 16X

Source: airstream.com

Features:

  • Wet bath with toilet and shower
  • Wrap around windows
  • Convertible dinette
  • Pass-through to use the showerhead as an outdoor shower
  • 7 different bench configurations

I absolutely love the retro-futurist design of the Airstream basecamp. It has all-aluminum siding and wrap-around windows surrounding the kitchen area.

The dinette in the back area has 7 different bench configurations so you can set it up for work from home, sleeping, or having a nice meal.

The bathroom in the Airstream Basecamp 16X is a wet bathroom with a shower and toilet. There’s a pass-through in the bathroom so you can take an outdoor shower, or use the showerhead to wash down gear.

Being able to take an outdoor shower is a huge plus, especially if the only other option is a wetbath (which, let’s be honest, can be a bit uncomfortable).

The Airstream Basecamp “X” model is designed for off-gridding, with built-in solar, and heavy-duty tires.

NuCamp TAB 320 S

NuCamp TAB 320 S
Source: nucamprv.com

Features

  • Wet bath and cassette toilet
  • Solar already installed
  • Off-road option available
  • Outdoor shower in addition to indoor

This tiny teardrop has all the amenities you need for any camping trip. It’s laid out with a sink and a two-burner at the front, and a convertible dinette in the back. The bathroom in the NuCamp is a wetbath, with a shower, cassette toilet, and a tiny sink.

Building + Camping With a STUNNING Custom Teardrop Trailer

Honestly, I was surprised to see a sink in the bathroom, since most trailers of this size do not have a bathroom sink, so that’s definitely a plus!

NuCamp also offers a boondocking package with off-road tires and more ground clearance. Plus, the built-in solar makes it great for any type of off-grid camping. The only downside to this trailer is that headroom is limited, especially in the dinette area. If you’re super tall, this small camper may feel pretty cramped inside.

Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E19FBS

Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E19FBS
Source: forestriverinc.com

Features:

  • Full drybath with shower, sink, and toilet
  • Awning included
  • Queen sized bed

The Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro is another larger option if you don’t absolutely need the smallest camper on the market.  The amenities in the E-pro are really spacious. The kitchen is large for a trailer this size, and the bathroom is too.

The bathroom in the E-pro is a full dry bathroom. It has a shower, sink, and a toilet, plus a bit of countertop space.

This small camper is not tiny. It’s 20 feet, so if you do need something tiny, I’d suggest looking at teardrop campers instead. BUT, if you do have a car with a higher towing capacity and you want a full-sized dry bathroom and tons of storage, I really like this option from Forest River.

Casita Spirit Deluxe

Casita Spirit Deluxe
Source: casitatraveltrailers.com

Features

  • Wetbath with toilet, shower, and sink
  • Sleeps 3
  • Two dinettes
  • Wrap around overhead cabinets

The Casita deluxe is a 17 foot ultra-cute and small camper with everything you need.  Casita trailers are very comparable to Scamps, except they tend to be easier to get your hands on. (Scamps have a long waiting list).

The Spirit Deluxe comes with a convertible double bed/dinette and another dinette that converts into a single bed.

The bathroom in this model is a relatively large wet bath with a shower, toilet, and a small sink.  They’ve built a lot of storage into this tiny trailer. It’s got overhead cabinets surrounding almost the whole space, as well as a large wardrobe next to the bathroom.

The Casita Spirit is an excellent small camper option that’s lightweight, pretty affordable, and has a great reputation.

Lance 1575

Lance 1575
Source: lancecamper.com

Features:

  • Dry bath with separate toilet and shower
  • Queen sized bed
  • Four seasons equipped
  • Sleeps 4

The Lance 1575 packs a lot into its 20 feet of length.  This small camper has a queen-sized bed! With that and the convertible dinette, it’ll sleep four people.

The biggest plus of this small camper, of course, is that it has a dry bathroom. The shower is separated from the toilet by a curtain, which makes for a much more comfortable bathroom experience.

Source: lancecamper.com

The 1575 has a slideout which is pretty unique for a trailer of its size. The slide-out means you get an extra few square feet of living area when you’re at your campsite. When in the slide-out position, you get a large dinette with a big window over it that converts to a full-sized bed.

Airstream Bambi 16RB

Source: airstream.com

Features:

  • Wetbath with shower, sink, and toilet
  • Pass through for outdoor shower
  • Window in bathroom
  • Sleeps 4
  • Convertible dinette

The Bambi packs all of the amenities you need into a small, 16 foot camper, all while keeping that classic retro look of the 1960s Airstreams. At the front, you have a convertible dinette, surrounded by wrap around windows. The kitchen is standard with a two burner stove and a sink.

The Bambi’s bathroom is pretty small, but it manages to pack a sink, shower, and toilet all in one little space.  Plus you get a nice window in the bathroom that acts as a pass through so you can take outdoor showers as well.

Features:

  • Dry bath with shower, sink, and toilet
  • Large countertop in bathroom
  • Convertible queen bed/dinette
  • Rear entry

The Forest River R-pod has one of the largest bathrooms I’ve seen in a trailer under 20 feet. The bathroom is a full dry bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Plus, you get a good amount of counter space in the bathroom for towels and toiletries.

The R-pod is a rear entry camper, leaving room for a large convertible dinette at the front. The dinette converts into a queen-size pull-down bed. You’ll also have some extra sleeping room on the sofa.

3 Smallest Drivable Campers with Bathrooms

If you don’t want to tow a trailer, there are some driveable campers out there that have bathrooms.

Here are the best small campers with bathrooms that you can drive!

Coachmen Nova 20RB

Source: coachmenrv.com

Features:

  • Ram Promaster chassis
  • Wetbath with sink, shower, and toilet
  • Swivel front seats
  • Two twin beds

The Coachmen Nova is built on a Ram Promaster chassis. These vehicles are 4WD and easy to maneuver through rough terrain, so they’re great for off-grid camping trips.

The Nova has a wet bathroom in the back with a sink that flips up to save room while you’re showering or using the toilet. It has two twin beds, a standard kitchenette, and swivel seats in the front that turn into an extra dinette.

Here’s a quick walkthrough tour:

Airstream Atlas

Airstream Atlas
Source: aristream.com

Features:

  • Dry bath with shower, sink, toilet
  • Large walk-in shower
  • Electric slide-out murphy bed
  • Optional cockpit bed

The Airstream Atlas might be the most luxurious campervan on the market. Everything inside is super fancy and very high quality.

Airstream Atlas interior floorplan
Source: airstream.com

In the Atlas, you’ll get a full dry bath with a pretty large walk-in shower. This is a really rare amenity for a campervan this size. The coolest feature in this van, though, is the electric Murphy bed, which essentially sets itself up with the push of a button.

Here’s a walkthrough:

Winnebago Ekko 22A

Winnebago Ekko 22A
Source: winnebago.com

Features:

  • Bathroom with shower, sink, toilet
  • Optional pop top
  • Pivot system in bathroom for dry bath capability
  • Sleeps 4

The Winnebago Ekko is technically a Class C, though it’s much smaller than most Class C campers on the market.  The 22A floorplan sleeps four, with two twin beds and the pop-up.

The optional pop-up is honestly my favorite feature of this camper. It’s a super fun and efficient way to add extra sleeping space to a small camper.

Winnebago Ekko 22A floorplan
Source: winnebago.com

The bathroom in the Ekko is really unique. It’s technically a dry bath because there’s a wall that swivels over to cover either the toilet or the shower, depending on which one you’re using.  So, when you take a shower it won’t get the toilet all wet, plus there’s a small sink in the bathroom as well!

What is the Smallest Camper with a Bathroom?

The smallest campers with a bathroom you can find are 13’ trailers. These include the Scamp 13’ camper, and the Happier Camper HC1. Both of these camping trailers are super tiny but still manage to include a bathroom in their layouts.

Conclusion

Hopefully you discovered that small campers with bathrooms aren’t quite as rare as you’d think. A lot of these small camping trailers manage to pack a whole lot of amenities into a tiny little space.

But still keep in mind, the smaller the camper you get, the more tradeoffs you’re going to have to make, especially if a bathroom is a must-have.
